Medicare and Medicaid are spending themselves into bankruptcy. Last night I watched the committee on health-care reform debate the merits of a single payer system. John McCain and our own Sen. Orrin Hatch both spoke out against this fix. We cannot afford it, they said.
True, thanks to you guys, we already bankrupted this country by voting for two wars that have cost billions and the bailout of the banks.
Sen. Hatch does not represent Utah. He represents the beltway insiders. My father had him pegged 30 years ago when he gave him a "two thumbs down" at the Provo Fourth of July parade.
