SUNSET — Yet another Utah city is considering allowing chickens in residential neighborhoods.

Following a brief discussion, which showed varying opinions on the issue, the Sunset City Council on Tuesday decided to table the talks until Mayor Dan Gotchy explains why he placed the issue on the agenda. Gotchy didn't attend Tuesday's council meeting.

The council also wants to know how many residents are interested in raising chickens before it votes on the issue.

The Clearfield City Council recently voted against allowing chickens in residential zones, and Provo's council voted for it.
