Spikers rider Tim Bingham edged Grantsville's Tyler Williams to win the state final in bull riding. Bingham scored 81 points on his final ride, compared to 80 for Williams. It was enough to also make Bingham the top national qualifier and season state champ in the event.

Dixie's Tanner Atkin brought down his steer in lightning quick fashion to win the steer wrestling final. Atkin posted a final round time of 4.810 seconds to win the event. South Summit's KC Fryer tallied 136 points to finish as the top national qualifier and state champion in steer wrestling — making it his second individual state title this year after also claiming one in wrestling.
