CARSON, Calif. — Real Salt Lake finally got the road breakthrough it desperately needed Saturday night knocking off the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0 at the Home Depot Center.

Yura Movsisyan opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and defender Nat Borchers tacked on an insurance goal in the 52nd minute as RSL improved to 4-6-3 with its first road victory of the season.

In the process Real Salt Lake put a halt to Los Angeles' 10-game unbeaten streak that included eight ties. Both teams are now tied in the Western Conference standings with 15 points.

RSL played the final 25 minutes with a man advantage after L.A.'s Eddie Lewis received a red card for tossing the ball at Javier Morales while he lay on the ground.

Real Salt Lake will try to put an end to another streak next weekend when it visits Houston, a team with an 8-0-2 record in its past 10 games.
