Tasering a good option

It was very sad to learn of the death of Brian Cardall. But having seen firsthand the impact of bipolar illness among my relatives and also having visited Taser corporate headquarters and doing some independent Taser review, I caution the public from a rush to judgment, especially before many details are disclosed.

In the last decade, Tasers have saved many lives and countless injuries. They allow law enforcement to subdue detainees without close combat. I ask you to ponder, if your relative needed to be controlled, would you prefer that they be shot with a gun, beat with a baton or shocked by a Taser? The first two choices guarantee death or some injury while in Tasering, harm beyond a few seconds is extremely rare. To compare, do we stop flying Air France just because one plane goes down?
