A limited number of 2009 Utah football season tickets have been released for sale to the general public in the "Red Zone" and bleacher areas of Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The seats became available after the Ute ticket office processed season ticket upgrade requests and are expected to go quickly. Season tickets start at $99 and can be purchased online at utes.com" TARGET="_blank">utahutes.com or by calling 801-581-UTIX.
The ticket office reports that season tickets are selling at a record pace for the fifth straight year. A year ago, the Utes sold 30,547 season tickets and played before an average of 45,542 fans — another a school record and one that exceeded the seating capacity of Rice-Eccles Stadium (45,017).
