Kanab gets $10K grant to help entrepreneurs

The Governor's Office of Economic Development has awarded a $10,000 Rural Development Grant to the Kanab Chamber of Commerce to support its efforts to develop local entrepreneurs.

GOED said the chamber will work with Southern Utah University, Dixie State College, the Dixie Business Alliance's Small Business Development Center and the Center for Education, Business and the Arts to support local entrepreneurs through an entrepreneurship competition, entrepreneur education events and the development of a brochure to inform local entrepreneurs about state and local incentives.
