A 31-year-old Roy man died at the scene of an accident on I-80 early Monday morning.

An alcohol-involved auto rollover near Wendover killed a Roy man early Monday morning.
Two men were traveling east on I-80 near mile post 36 at about 4 a.m. when the Chevy Trailblazer drifted to the left, then overcorrected to the right and the vehicle rolled several times, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The passenger, Roy resident Raul Luna, 31, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The driver, 36, from Salt Lake County, was airlifted to University Hospital with serious injuries, according to UHP.
UHP said the accident is still under investigation.
The driver was wearing his seat belt, but troopers are still investigating if the passenger was wearing his seat belt, according to UHP.
