Pony express re-enactment set

The National Pony Express Association will carry express mail for the 30th year this June along the historic Pony Express Trail.

A rider will depart St. Joseph, Mo., on Tuesday, June 9, for the 1,966-mile route to Sacramento, Calif.

Riders are expected to enter Utah from Evanston, Wyo., on June 14 about 8 p.m. and depart the state into Nevada at approximately 11 a.m. on June 18.
