The Fresno Grizzlies rallied back from a 3-1 deficit for a 6-5 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night.
A two-run homer by Sean Rodriguez in the third inning gave the Bees a two run lead, but Fresno came back with three in the fourth.
A two-run home run by John Bowker off of Salt Lake starter Brad Knox tied the game and the Grizzlies took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Steve Holm. They would add a run in the fifth on a double by Kevin Frandsen and a solo homer in the sixth by Ryan Rohlinger to make it 6-3. The Bees would pull to within one in the eighth on a two-run blast by Bobby Wilson, but Osiris Matos retired the last four batters to close out the game.
Brad Knox (4-3) took the loss, as he allowed six runs on 10 hits in 51?3 innings with one walk and no strikeouts. Terry Evans and Brandon Wood each had two hits to lead the Bees, as they drop the first game of their eight game road trip.
Also on Saturday, the Bees placed right-handed pitcher Rudy Seanez on the DL with a right pectoral muscle strain, and the Angels optioned right-handed pitcher Rafael Rodriguez to Salt Lake.
