Political seminar set for teachers

The Hinckley Institute at the University of Utah is accepting applications for the Huntsman Seminar in Constitutional Government for Teachers.

The seminar focuses on improving the quality of civic education in Utah schools. Participants gain valuable knowledge and insight into current events in American politics by interacting with political experts, judges, university faculty and elected officials.

Enrollment in the five-day conference, which takes place Aug. 3-7, is $100. Three credit hours of graduate-level political science credit, costs for tuition, books and lodging are included. Applications can be found at www.hinckley.utah.edu/events/seminar/index.html.
