Marissa is a 2-month-old domestic shorthair with beautiful tortie coloring. She gets along great with other cats, loves to play and is great with people of all ages. Since June is Adopt-a-Cat Month, her adoption price is discounted.
Peter is a 4-year-old German shepherd mix who is very friendly. This large boy could benefit from an exercise program with his new family. He is already house-trained and is very sweet with everyone he meets.
Adoption rates are $95 for dogs, $20 for cats, and $65 for kittens, which includes sterilization, vaccinations, a microchip, and free first veterinary exam. During June, all adult cats are free, and kittens are $35. If you are interested in any the animals, go to Salt Lake County Animal Services, 511 W. 3900 South, Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., or call 801-559-1100 or go to www.slcoanimalservices.org.
