Applications to audition for all voice parts in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be available during the entire month of July 2009 with completed applications and voice recordings required to be postmarked by Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009.On a one-time-only basis for the 2009 auditions, the application age will be extended to those turning 56 in calendar year 2009. Those applicants who are 56 at the time of their acceptance into the choir will be able to sing until the year in which they turn 61, instead of the usual retirement age of 60. (This is a special, one-time only allowance since no choir auditions were scheduled in 2008.)See the rest of this story at ldschurchnews.com
