A fragment of glass is found on the site of an old homestead in Vernon, Tooele County, May 5. It was one of several Mormon homesteads in the town of Benmore. Israel Bennion founded Benmore in 1914, and it lasted until 1924. The U.S. Forest Service is researching the area as a heritage project.
