1. Chivas (7-1-3): The Goats' record-setting pace has slowed with two straight ties.

2. Chicago (4-0-6): League's lone unbeaten is finally winning some games after a bunch of ties.

3. Seattle (4-2-4): With four straight ties, the Sounders have dropped back to reality a bit.

4. D.C. United (3-1-7): D.C. is 2-0-5 since losing at Real Salt Lake — its only loss this season.

5. Kansas City (4-4-3): Despite inconsistency, when Wizards are clicking they're very tough.

6. Houston (4-2-3): Very quietly the Dynamo are on a six-game unbeaten run with a 4-0-2 record.

7. Toronto (4-3-4): Continually hovering around .500; win over Toronto would be a huge boost.

8. Colorado (3-2-4): Haven't lost since April 19, but a bunch of ties are holding Rapids back.

9. L.A. Galaxy (1-1-8): The bottom line is the Galaxy aren't losing, which is impressive.

10. Real Salt Lake (3-5-2): It wasn't pretty, but RSL finally earned a road point last week.

11. Columbus (1-2-6): Despite lack of wins, defending champs are 1-0-4 since early April.

12. New England (2-3-4): The Revolution are 0-2-2 since RSL exposed them with six goals.

13. New York (2-6-3): Attack is too inconsistent for the Red Bulls to be considered a threat in East.

14. FC Dallas (1-6-3): There are signs of life in Frisco with Dallas tying two straight.

15. San Jose (1-6-2): League's worst team has been outscored 7-2 in past two matches.
