SPRINGVILLE — A public hearing for Springville's 2010 fiscal-year budget is set for June 16 at City Hall, 50 S. Main.
The City Council is looking at a $15.8 million proposed budget, down from the original 2009 budget of $16.5 million, said Dave Allen, city finance director. The council reopened the budget in February and brought it down to $16.3 million. The council will reopen it again June 16 for a final adjustment, Allen said.
Officials are considering no layoffs, raises or changes in city services.
