PROVO — The starting time and network for the BYU football team's season-opener against Oklahoma has been announced. The Sept. 5 game vs. the Sooners will kick off at 5 p.m. MDT and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
The Cougars and Sooners will face each other at the new, state-of-the-art Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as part of the second annual ESPN Kickoff Week. The featured contest with BYU and Oklahoma pits two of only seven teams nationally to win 10 or more games each of the last three seasons.

The Cougars will appear on VERSUS, CBS College Sports Network and the ESPN networks twice apiece with seven contests being broadcast on The mtn., including a simulcast with CBS C of the BYU-Utah game on Nov. 28.
