Park City budget plan avoids deep cuts so far

The city has also been careful to spend one-time revenues on one-time projects, Howser said.

The City Council is required by state law to approve a final budget by mid-June. It will hold several public hearings before doing so.

General fund: $34 million

Property tax: No increase

City employees: Shuffling; new assistant city manager

City services: Minor across-the-board cuts

Employee raises: 2 percent cost of living; bonus program for non-executive employees
