PROVO — Police are looking for two men who robbed a plant nursery Monday.
According to police dispatchers, a tall, thin man, and a shorter, stocky man walked into Rainbow Gardens, 490 S. State in Provo, around 11 a.m., and began shuffling through desk drawers in the office, said Provo Police Capt. Cliff Argyle.
The lone female employee had been working outside and when she walked back into the shop, the men became aggressive and yelled for her to open the register, Argyle said.
One of the men pointed a pistol at the woman as she opened the drawer and gave them an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects left the store on foot, Argyle said.
Police say the man with the gun was the taller, slender man around 6 feet 2 inches tall with blue eyes.
The shorter, overweight man is around 5 feet 11 inches, police say. Both were wearing black pants and black ski-type masks.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call Provo police at 801-852-6210 or detective Stowe at 801-852-7278.
