SPANISH FORK — Spanish Fork police have arrested a second individual related to the burglary and theft of an AK-47 and Ford Mustang in Spanish Fork.
Saturday afternoon, a man was booked into the Utah County Jail on investigation of residential burglary, theft of a firearm and theft of a vehicle. The man was arrested in Provo and has been cooperative with investigators, said Spanish Fork Sgt. John Jackson.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and booked into jail on similar counts early Saturday after officers located the Mustang behind a Provo home, though Jackson declined to say what led officers to the home. The AK-47, a loaded clip, a laptop computer, hunting bows and other property were also recovered.
The items had been reported missing after a late Thursday/early Friday burglary.
The victims and those arrested know one another, Jackson said in a news release.
