SPANISH FORK — Law enforcement officials recovered what they say was a stolen Ford Mustang and a loaded AK-47 assault rifle early Saturday.
Kip David Gneiting, 22, was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail. Spanish Fork police said they are still investigating, and more arrests may occur.
Police said the car had been reported stolen earlier, and that it looked as if the assault rifle had not been fired. Police also confiscated other property they said had been taken during a burglary.
Spanish Fork police joined forces with the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force and Provo police in locating the car.
