University's beginnings

George Wythe University began as a branch of Coral Ridge Baptist University, founded by Oliver Demille in Duck Creek, Fla., in 1992.

The first campus opened in Cedar City in 1994.

Ground broken in 2008 for the second campus on 200 acres in Monticello.

First online courses offered in summer of 2009.

Enrollment: 150

Average age: 18-24
