UP — ★★★★ — Disney-Pixar's latest cartoon feature strikes a good balance between humor and necessary character drama. Running time: 96 minutes, PG (violence, mild vulgarity, slurs)

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW — ★★½ — The uneven but popular rock opera about transvestites from outer space is entertaining when viewed with interactive crowds. Running time: 100 minutes, R (violence, sex, profanity, vulgarity) (May 31: Tower)
