What: Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride, milk a cow and learn about life on a farm. Day camps are also available for children ages 6 to 12.
Where: 6351 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City
When: Monday through Saturday, dawn until dusk. Camps run June through August.
How much: Admission is free, but there is a small fee for some activities and events. Camp prices are $60 per session.

RED BUTTE GARDEN
What: Explore the gardens with a "family backpack" and learn how plants and animals change through the seasons. Camps are also available for children.
Where: 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City
When: Gardens are open daily, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Camps run June through August.
How much: Most activities are free with admission or require a minimal fee. Camp prices vary.
OGDEN NATURE CENTER
What: Participate in a "Wild Wednesday" class, including presentations on animal prints and endangered species.
Where: 966 W. 12th St., Ogden
When: Each Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
How much: Members get in free. Regular prices are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children.

THANKSGIVING POINT
What: Come learn about different farm animals and also all the work that happens on a farm during a Monday evening "Family Night on the Farm."
Where: 3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi
When: Monday evenings from 5 until 7 p.m.
How much: $3.50 for adults and children ages 3-12. Free for members.
