150 years of remembering those buried at Mountain Meadows

ENTERPRISE — Prayers, presentations, music and a 21-gun salute are part of the commemorations marking the 150th year of the reburial of Mountain Meadows Massacre victims near Enterprise, Utah, on Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30.

Brevet Maj. James H. Carleton and his troops undertook the task of reburying the bones in May 1859.
