Travelers heading northbound on I-15 between 500 North and I-215 can expect traffic as the freeway cuts down to one lane Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The Utah Department of Transportation will close other lanes from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as construction continues on an ExpressLinks project to add express lanes to the freeway.
Northbound I-15 on-ramps, including ones at 400 South, 600 North and 2300 North, will close from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. The I-15 northbound on-ramps at 2300 North and U.S. 89 will close Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.
Southbound I-15 traffic will also be restricted to one lane from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 3-4. UDOT recommends that drivers take alternate routes, including Legacy Parkway, I-215 and I-80.
