A blown tire led to the death of a man traveling on I-15 in Juab County on Sunday morning, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.
UHP Sgt. Jeff Tingey said the man, who has not been identified, was driving south near Mona about 10:45 a.m. when he lost control of his pickup truck after a front tire blew out.
Tingey said the man was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled into the median.
Ambulance personnel were treating the man as he was being transported to Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi, but he died before arrival.
Tingey said the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
