TORONTO — Amado Guevara scored twice and Dwayne DeRosario added a goal as Toronto FC beat New England 3-1 on Saturday and stretched the Revolution's winless streak to six games.

Guevara scored with a hard shot from the edge of the area in the first half, then looped a free kick into the far corner in the second half, giving him a team-high five goals.

DeRosario scored on a second-half breakaway for Toronto (4-3-4), which has lost once in six games. Shalrie Joseph scored for New England (2-3-4), which has not won since beating FC Dallas at home on April 4.

Joseph and Steve Ralston started up front for the second straight game, part of coach Steve Nicol's plan to boost New England's offense.

The Revolution had scored an MLS-low seven goals entering the game, but they took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute when Joseph met Chris Tierney's cross and sent a glancing header into the far corner. It was Joseph's team-leading third goal and New England's second first-half score of the season. Toronto tied it 80 seconds later when Guevara took a short pass from Danny Dichio at the edge of the penalty box and blistered a high shot over the hands of goaltender Matt Reis.

Dichio was also the playmaker on Toronto's second goal, sending DeRosario in all alone with a pass from the center circle. The speedy winger did the rest, racing into the area and scoring with a low shot under the defenseless Reis.

Reis returned to New England's lineup after missing last week's game against Colorado because of a concussion.

DYNAMO 3, EARTHQUAKES 1: At Houston, Brian Ching and Kei Kamara scored in the first half and Houston cruised past San Jose. Craig Waibel also scored for Houston (4-2-3), which extended its unbeaten streak to six matches (4-0-2). Ruam Johnson had the only goal for San Jose (1-6-2) as the Earthquakes stretched their winless string to seven (0-5-2) since beating the Dynamo on March 28.

WIZARDS 1, CHIVAS USA 1: At Kansas City, Kan., second-half substitute Eduardo Lillingston scored six minutes after entering the game, and MLS West-leading Chivas USA salvaged a card-filled draw. The Wizards (4-4-3) finished with nine men after the ejections of forward Josh Wolff and midfielder Santiago Hirsig. Still, Chivas USA (7-1-3) couldn't pick up its first win in five trips to Kansas City but broke a string of four straight losses here. The Wizards went up 1-0 in the 56th minute on Claudio Lopez's long free kick. Lillingston replaced Chukwudi Chijindu in the 58th and got the tying goal in the 64th.
