YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — All major roads into Yellowstone National Park are open for Memorial Day weekend.

They include the Beartooth Highway between Red Lodge, Mont., and Yellowstone's Northeast Entrance. Also opening was the road between Tower Fall and Canyon Junction over Dunraven Pass.

No road construction delays or closures are planned this weekend. Road work is scheduled to begin next week, and Yellowstone officials say that could create up to 30-minute delays for motorists.

Construction work will close the road through Gibbon Canyon between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. starting June 1.

The section of road will close completely between Aritsts Paint Pots and the Tuff Cliff Picnic Area starting Aug. 17 so a bridge can be replaced. The road will then remain closed until winter season.
