I am dismayed at the total lack of coverage of Wednesday's tea party at the state Capitol. Hundreds of participants showed up to voice their outrage over the direction of our state and country. Even worse was that Mark Shurtleff, who the tea party movement does NOT support, staged his announcement on the Capitol steps, distracting the press from the protest inside.
Shame on Shurtleff and the press.
