More than 350 volunteers from the Clarksville, Fort Campbell, and Hopkinsville, Ky. area — nine congregations from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and numerous Attucks alumni, armed with work gloves, face masks, wheel barrows, push brooms, crow bars, ladders, and shovels — turned the 1916 Attucks High School in Hopkinsville into a sight to behold!
This army of volunteers removed 75 percent of the debris in the first 2 1/2 hours. By the end of the eight-hour day, more than 240 cubic yards of debris were removed.
