The scenic drive to Cedar Breaks National Monument, state Route 148, is now open. The Cedar Breaks Visitor Center will open on Saturday, May 23.

The Utah Department of Transportation has finally cleared the highway of snow, though most monument areas remain under 2 feet of the white stuff.

The visitor center will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

More information is available by calling 435-586-0787 or by going to nps.gov/cebr.
