Tips for living: How should you act at meetings?

Oh, no, not another meeting, you say to yourself. If only you didn't have to go.

Some business and church meetings are required. There is no escape — and there shouldn't be. If you're a priesthood leader, the only way out may be to send someone else in your place. Unless you're the bishop or stake president, and meetings go with the territory.

At work, you may be stuck in meetings that seem like they were scripted by Michael Scott — you know, Steve Carell's character in "The Office."

As much as we may dislike meetings, we can't avoid them all. So how should we act?
