A 68-year-old Denver man was seriously injured in a bicycle accident near Moab.

The Grand County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that the man was mountain biking on Rose Garden Hill when he lost control while riding down the rocky dirt road. He suffered a broken hip, and search and rescue teams had to respond.

The man was taken to a medical helicopter, where he was flown to a Grand Junction, Colo., hospital to be treated for his injuries.
