Excellent choices

I commend President Barack Obama on his second excellent appointment. The first was Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense, and now Jon Huntsman Jr. as ambassador to China. The importance of China on the world scene cannot be overestimated. China owns fully 50 percent of our national debt. Huntsman, thanks to his missionary experience, prior ambassadorship to Singapore and trade missions to China, is singularly the most qualified individual to represent the United States in this part of the world. We Utahns can be proud of this appointment.
