MIDVALE — An argument between two roommates Tuesday ended with one man being sent to the Intermountain Medical Center after being stabbed, while the other was taken to a psychiatric unit.
Kevin Jones, 26, was pacing in the home when his 66-year-old roommate told him, "Please leave me alone. Don't touch me," said Midvale Police Sgt. John Salazar.
Salazar said the two roommates began arguing, Jones went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and slashed the roommate's right arm.
Jones was taken to the psychiatric unit at University Hospital. Salazar said the roommate was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The roommate was in still in serious to fair condition Wednesday, he said.
