Jacob Whipple (Readers' Forum, May 6) asserts that same-sex marriage is not a religious matter but a civil matter. He wonders when Utah will support civil rights for all of its citizens and asks, "When will you?"
Don't count on me, Mr. Whipple. For me, same-sex marriage IS a religious matter. My beliefs on the issue are based on my study of the Bible and other inspired scriptures. I choose to stand with God, not man.
