SANDY — Sandy has received almost $900,000 from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is seeking public input on how best to use the funds.

The grant is part of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, according to a city news release. The funds could be spent to reduce fossil-fuel emissions, cut down on energy use, or improve efficiency in transportation or building sectors.

A meeting on the issue is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 10000 S. Centennial Parkway.
