A Utah escort service operator pleaded guilty Friday to attempted income tax evasion charges.
Roy B. Hoskins, who owned and operated Companions, knowingly omitted substantial income from the escort service from his individual 2001 and 2002 1040 forms, according to the indictment.
Hoskins faces a maximum sentence of five years in jail, or a fine of $250,000 and possibly both.
U.S. District Judge Dee Benson scheduled Hoskins' sentencing for July 6.
