Utah health officials say there are now 27 confirmed cases of H1N1 flu in the state.
Of those, 21 are in Summit County and four are in Salt Lake County. The others were residents of Weber and Utah counties.
The cases were confirmed by Utah's state health lab, which began testing samples on Wednesday when it took over the job from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
The Utah Health Department also said Thursday there are 22 probable cases of swine flu in the state. Those include cases in Summit and Salt Lake counties as well as cases in the Weber-Morgan Health Department district, the Central Utah Health District and the Southwest Utah Public Health District.
