Santiago Steven Maese, 32, the former owner of the Doll House escort service, has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges that wrap up a witness tampering case against him.

Maese had been charged with witness tampering, a third-degree felony, and stalking, a class A misdemeanor, in connection with allegations that he had harassed his former girlfriend and Doll House business partner, Tiffany French Curtis.

Maese this week pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted acting as a private investigator without a license, both class B misdemeanors. Third District Judge Randall Skanchy sentenced Maese to 12 months probation, which is to run concurrently with a term of probation Maese already is serving for his convictions on charges connected to the operation of the Doll House.
