You know you are having a bad day when you and your bank both flunked a stress test.
Members of Congress who are opposed to federal hate crime legislation use the excuse that there are enough such laws at the state level. Which is better than admitting they hate to lose the Klan vote.
There is plenty of hate at the federal level. They put it aside once a year at the National Prayer Breakfast.
All violent crime is a hate crime, so why have a separate hate crime bill? Because I said so.
But try not to hate me for it.
