SIGURD, Sevier County (AP) — Police say a Sevier County man has been killed in an industrial accident at the trucking company where he worked after a waste oil holding tank exploded and hit him in the head.

Sevier County sheriff's detective Nathan Curtis says Cody L. Mickelsen, 32, was killed on Monday.

Curtis says Mickelsen reached down to adjust a valve on a used oil storage tank. He says the contents were pressurized to move oil from one tank to another and the tank apparently wasn't strong enough to withstand the pressure.
