Utah now has one "probable" case of swine flu and the first of the state's allotment of anti-viral medications has arrived, according to officials at the Utah Department of Health.
Spokesman Tom Hudachko said the "probable" cheek swab sample has been sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and results are expected Friday. Unless the case is confirmed, no patient information is available, he said.
He urged Utahns to continue to take appropriate precautions to protect themselves and others from the illness. Updated information can be found online at www.health.utah.gov/swineflu.
