BEAVER — Federal authorities are planning to ignite a 5,000-acre prescribed burn near here.
The Bureau of Land Management announced Monday it would begin burning control lines in preparation for the controlled burn on the Greenville Bench about six miles southwest of Beaver. The fire itself will be set from Wednesday to Friday. The burn activity may be delayed if weather conditions are unfavorable, the BLM said.
