LOS ANGELES — Center Mehmet Okur will play when the Utah Jazz face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in game 5 of their first-round NBA playoff series.
Okur missed the first three games of the series with strained right hamstring. He played in game 4 of the series but was scoreless with 0-3 shooting from the field and just two rebounds in about 13 minutes of play.
"(Trainer) Gary (Briggs) said he is OK to play," Jazz coahc Jerry Sloan after today's morning shoot around. "(Briggs) worked on him (Sunday) and he said he tought he'd be OK, so that's what we'll do."
The Jazz are down 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.
