FARMINGTON — A Syracuse baby sitter facing criminal charges accusing him of molesting children has pleaded not guilty.
During an appearance in 2nd District Court on April 9, Richard Siler pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony, and two counts of forcible sex abuse, a second-degree felony. A pretrial conference for Siler, 45, is scheduled for May 7.
Siler is accused of molesting three children at his home in 2003 and 2004. Syracuse police said Siler is a registered sex offender stemming from a 1999 attempted sex abuse of a child conviction.
