Weber State football: Folsom drafted by Dolphins

Weber State's J.D. Folsom was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the fifth pick of the seventh round (No. 214 overall) in the NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker played a big part in the Wildcat's run to a Big Sky championship and second round of the NCAA FCS playoffs.

Folsom is a Salmon, Idaho native and also played at Snow College before playing with Weber State were he was a two-time All-Big Sky honoree.
