After being recognized by an acquaintance at Disneyland Friday in Anaheim, Calif., Curtis Brad Cordery was arrested for investigation of a robbery at a credit union in South Jordan.

According to a release from the FBI, on July 28, 2008, a man entered the credit union with his face obstructed by the brim of his hat and pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and pointed it at the tellers. The robber told the employees to open the cash drawers and lie on the ground.

The robber then emptied the tills into a black trash bag and procured the keys to a vehicle belonging to a teller. Shortly after the robbery, police discovered the stolen car in a nearby neighborhood with a black BB gun that matched the description of the weapon used in the robbery.

An arrest warrant was issued on July 20, 2008, for Cordery.

The FBI release says the investigation was a result of the combined efforts of the FBI, federal and state law enforcement officers in California and Utah and a Disneyland security person who assisted in Cordery's arrest. He was booked into the Anaheim Detention Facility.
