RENO, Nev — Brandon Wood and Bobby Wilson each hit home runs and Dan Denham tossed six strong innings to help lead the Salt Lake Bees to a 9-6 win over the Reno Aces on Saturday.
The Bees trailed 2-0 going into the second when Wood drilled his fourth homer of the season. One out later, Wilson belted his first to tie the game.
Salt Lake took the lead in the third on RBI doubles by Wood and Freddy Sandoval, as well as a run-scoring infield single by Matt Brown.
BEES NOTES: The Los Angeles Angels have placed right-hander Dustin Moseley on the 15-day disabled list with elbow irritation.
The team purchased the contract of left-hander Dan Davidson from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.
The Angels also recalled right-hander Rich Thompson from Salt Lake to fill the roster spot opened when Vladimir Guerrero was placed on the 15-day DL.
